On December 30th 2000, GWR Hall class 4-6-0, ‘Kinlet Hall’, headed a nine-coach train, ‘The Taffy Apple’, from Stratford down through Herefordshire and on into South Wales. Dan Lester’s painting shows ‘Kinlet Hall’ as she accelerates from Abergavenny through a snow-covered landscape, on a glorious winters day.
Each picture is individually signed and numbered by the artist, available in two sizes, printed in light-fast inks on heavy quality watercolour paper and complete with signed certificate of authenticity.
